Tim Ritchie’s empty Sydney

Tim Ritchie has been involved in the musical life of Sydney since the 70s. He has fallen into early morning photography (via bicycle) for a few years now and his first exhibition is open all this month at Folonomo Gallery in Bourke St.

Let’s get arty, talking with Tim Ritchie, Paris from Groovescooter, DJ ADHD, Jay Katz, Miss Death & Tony Push at the opening night.

Hordern Pavilion Dance Party Special

Hordern Dance Party Special with Maynard from Hordern Pavilion Dance Party Special. Maynard

With the recent passing of DJ Paul Holden I was inspired to post the entire hour of a Special I did on Rewind on Channel V in 2001. Using footage originally shot at many dance parties by Charles Amsden in 1988 – 1990. I put some memorabilia and the clips of all the original house tracks. (although I know the Rozalla track is a remix, but we couldn’t find a broadcast version of the original Everybody’s Free at that time.)

Enjoy, the show is dedicated to DJ Paul Holden and everyone else who was there.

The Audio Journey of Tim Ritchie

Tim Ritchie has been in radio since the 70s, from Triple J to Radio National he has always been about introducing new music. His time as a nightcjub DJ is legendary, as are the stories you are about to hear. Tim Ritchie answers some of your questions and most of mine. Enjoy some quality sounds with @TCR.
